From Asheville, we drove to Gatlinburg, TN in the pouring rain. We tried driving up to Clingman's Dome, but it was too foggy.
Here are a couple of pictures overlooking Gatlinburg.
The next day, we hiked the Hen Wallow Falls trail (4.2 miles with some elevation). This turned out to be our least favorite hike in the park, but it was still fun.
