I drove from Seaside, CA down the coast past the
Hearst Castle on Highway 1 (coastal highway) then over to Wrightwood, CA. Wrightwood is in the East San Gabriel
Mountains about 30 miles north of San Bernadino and a little over 60 miles east
of Los Angeles. I was dog sitting for
the week so I did not play golf and do not have many pictures as my two hikes
each day were with the dogs. It is a
beautiful area at about 6,000 ft elevation that gets snow in the winter. Here are some pictures.

I did not see any wild animals, but I heard there are bears and mountain lions in the immediate area.
From Wrightwood, I am heading to Tucson, AZ to
check on possible 5 or 6 month rentals for the winter.
