I decided to drive from Blacksburg to Northern
Virginia along part of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
It is a very scenic drive and was a very nice day. From some of these pictures, you can see
where the name “Blue Ridge” comes from:
After leaving Northern Virginia, I drove to
Yorktown for a few days and attended a baby shower for my next to arrive great niece
(Ellison - due in September). Here I am with my great
