From Sequoia National Park, we drove to Yosemite National Park. Our first stop in Yosemite was the Washburn Point overlook. There were amazing views of Half-Dome and the Nevada Fall and Vernal Fall.
That is Half-Dome on the left and Nevada Fall on the top on the right and Vernal Fall on the bottom.
After Washburn Point, we drove up to Glacier Point and got great pictures of the same area.
After those 2 overlooks, we decided to hike the Sentinel Peak trail and make it a loop after climbing to the top of Sentinel Peak.
There was some snow on the top of of the Sentinel Dome.
Here are a couple of pictures from the famous Tunnel View pullover (with a view of El Capitan and Half Dome) as you enter Yosemite Valley.
Finally, we did a short hike up to Bridalveil Fall and then checked into our tent cabin in Curry Village.
That is all for our first full day. Our second day adventures are coming up next.
The scenery and geography is just gorgeous! Each picture looks like a post card! Love the flower pictures, thank you. Catch you on the next post!
