After our Carson City visit, we drove to Lassen Volcanic National Park. We camped in our van there for 1 night.
Our first hike there was the Lily Pond trail, a short hike near the visitor center.
Then we hiked the Manzanita Lake trail, That went entirely around the lake. This had great views of Lassen Peak.

It looks so beautiful out there. It's seems almost impossible that there is snow on some of those mountains. Great post, thank you!
