March 2019 - Tucson Part 1

Still having fun in Tucson with golf, hiking, basketball games, and going to the movies in Tucson.  Here are some pictures.
Hiked the Cochise Trail (about an hour southwest of Tucson).  This was a great hike in the area where Cochise and the Apache Indians roamed around.  Cochise is allegedly buried in these mountains, though no one knows exactly where…  This trail follows part of his stronghold…  We hiked to the Stronghold divide.

Kino Springs golf course (decent course near Mexico border – John Wayne played here)

Another rattler – I think this one was dead – on the side of the road – spotted while walking

Day trip to Tombstone, AZ – site of the OK Corral made famous by Wyatt Earp et al

More from Tucson and surrounding area coming up in Part 2....

  1. Great post Rob! Love the landscape pictures. Tombstone AZ looked so cool! You'll have to fill me in on your travels there, please. As always, great pictures. Keep an eye out for those rattlers!
