July 2018 Washington state - Part 1

I drove to Yakima, Washington and stayed a couple of nights there.  I visited Mount Rainier National Park and did a couple of hikes.  Then, I drove to Bremerton, Washington and stayed there for a week.  I visited Olympic National Park (did a hike there), Seattle, and played golf at Gold Mountain.  I also did some local hiking.  Here are some pictures of some of the highlights:
Mount Rainier National Park

Silver Falls trail

Here is a video of Silver Falls

Grove of the Patriarchs trail

More of Mt. Rainier (with 7 glaciers on the top)

Snow Lake trail (this lake was not that impressive and there were many biting bugs when I got to the lake – that part was not fun – but there were impressive views of Mt. Rainier on the hike)

That is all for Mount Rainier and Yakima.  I am off to Bremerton, near Seattle, for my next post.
