Having a blast and keeping busy with golf,
hiking, and going to the movies in Tucson.
Here are some pictures.
Kino Springs Golf course (near the Mexico border
in Nogales)
Forty Niner Golf course (hosted the PGA Tucson Open in the 60s)
Mount Lemmon hike (highest point around here –
over 8,000 feet – snows here in winter)
Arizona National Golf course
I saw this guy on the Arizona National Golf
Course – just sitting by the green and watching
Also watched this guy on one of the holes at
Arizona National (this is a roadrunner) I have seen several on different golf
courses, I captured the best images of this one.
These guys can travel at speeds of up to 15 mph
on the ground
Mountain View Golf course
Pima Canyon hike
Crooked Tree Golf course
Wasson Peak hike
I saw this guy on another morning walk (another
rattler)
This rattler was on the 17th hole at
Crooked Tree – you have to be alert when walking outside around here.
Here is the same one slithering toward the rough...
When I first arrived in Tucson, I was excited to see a rattlesnake and other wildlife. Now that I have seen 3 different rattlesnakes, I would not be upset if I did not have any further encounters with them!
More from Tucson, AZ in upcoming posts...
Gorgeous pics Rob! Glad you're enjoying your stay in AZ. Do not blame you regarding the rattlesnakes. Looking forward to your next post!
